Student Activities
On May 5- 6, 2017 at Epoka University was held successfully the 7th edition of IDCHSS 2017, “International Design Competition for High School Students” organized by the Department of Architecture.
This year, the competition themed as "Design a Path in Nature". There was a high interest and rate of participation in this premier competition, from both public and private high schools from all over the Republic of Albania. Depending on the evaluation of a jury of professionals, top 10 finalists were selected after the two-day design workshop. Whereas, the three top finalists, of the 7th edition of IDCHSS 2017 were awarded several scholarships to follow their studies in the Department of Architecture, of EPOKA University.
The scholarships were awarded for their outstanding performance in the competition to the following:
1st Prize: Rejdi Pjetërnikaj -75% scholarship
2nd Prize: Ahmed Samuri- 50% scholarship
3rd Prize: Enkelana Mehmeti- 25% scholarship
Each spring, the Department of Architecture at Epoka University organizes a design competition for final year high school students. This competition draws participants from all over Albania. Several prices are awarded to winners, including full or partial tuition waivers, should they decide to study architecture in our Department.
The competition is open to individual high school students enrolled in the final year of their studies. Some of the goals of this attempt can be listed as the following:
